Syedena Hazrat Makhdoom Sha Muhammad Rukuddin Al-Hussaini Al-Hassani (A.S.)

Syedena Hazrat Makhdoom Sha Muhammad Rukuddin Al-Hussaini Al-Hassani (A.S.) is the twentieth generation in the SMAAAQ family record. The historical Zafarabad account records Shaikh Rukn al-din, entitled Ghulam-i-Rukn-i-Alam, as a son of Makhdum Shaikh Sadr al-din Chiragh-i-Hind.

The title Ghulam-i-Rukn-i-Alam was given in memory of Shaikh Rukn al-din Rukn-i-Alam of Multan, who is described as the maternal cousin and spiritual guide of Chiragh-i-Hind. The historical account says that the younger Rukn al-din died in 795 AH / 1392 CE.

In the SMAAAQ genealogy, this generation is followed by Syedena Hazrat Sha Shams-ul-Haq Al-Hussaini (A.S.). The family record preserves the expanded name Muhammad Rukuddin Al-Hussaini Al-Hassani, while the historical Zafarabad source records the shorter form Shaikh Rukn al-din / Ghulam-i-Rukn-i-Alam.

Syedena Hazrat Makhdoom Sha Muhammad Rukuddin Al-Hussaini Al-Hassani (A.S.) is preserved in the SMAAAQ family tradition as the next generation of Chiragh-i-Hind.
